Applying for a Grant
Organizations are advised to carefully review this website to gauge the Foundation’s possible interest prior to submitting a full proposal.
If there is uncertainty, a brief, one-page letter of inquiry may be submitted via email to the Foundation, including a summary of the project and related costs.
The submission deadlines for Grant Applications are below:
| DUE DATE | MEETING |
|---|---|
| September 18th | December |
| March 18th | June |

Submission
Please Note: As of December 17, 2025 Laurel Foundation will be transitioning to a new online application platform. Applicants will be required to use Grants Connect credentials in order to access the application.
Before creating a new username and password, applicants should ensure they do not already have an account with Grants Connect. Other regional foundations utilize the same platform and Grants Connect allows applicants to access the applications of multiple foundations through one centralized location.
It is important to note previous logins for the Laurel Foundation application will no longer be valid.
The platform will still be accessed utilizing the button below; however, in-process and previously submitted applications will not transfer to the new platform.
While the application will be accessed through a new platform and will have different design elements, the content will not be changing.
As with any platform, applicants are encouraged to save all work in a separate document (such as Word) to ensure their application material is not lost prior to submission.
After December 31, 2025 the legacy portal will be deactivated and previously submitted grant applications will not be accessible. Please contact Foundation staff if you need a copy of a previously submitted application.
If you have questions or issues with the online forms, please email the Foundation.
